$2K EDELBROCK BRACKET RACES ANNOUNCED

Lane Automotive and Edelbrock have teamed together to offer $2000 to win bracket races at US 131 Motorsports Park. These races will be run in conjunction with the Lane Automotive Bracket Series. This is a points series ran all season where track champions are determined.
This news has brought excitement already. “This is a move the fine people at Lane Automotive wanted to see and of course the racers are all for this,” stated US 131 Motorsports Park general manager Jason Peterson. “The goal was to enhance the already highest guaranteed to win bracket series in Michigan without drastically increasing the racer entry fee. Lane Automotive and Edelbrock with US 131 chose to raise the payout with only a $10 increase in the car or motorcycle entry fee,” said Peterson.
These races are open to anyone in the following classes, Top ET, Modified and Street on Saturdays, May 22 and August 21. The payout in the Top ET and Modified classes will be $2000 to win and the street class will see an additional $100 to win. CHAMPION AWARDS BANQUET

| It is time to mark your calendar for the 2009 US 131 Motorsports Park Champions Award Banquet. This fun evening is set for Friday, February 5, 2010. This is an opportunity to celebrate the 2009 Lane Automotive Bracket Racing Series racers and sponsors. This is also a great time to catch up with friends before the new season starts.
The location will be in Allegan at The Silo. Champions will once again be awarded cash prizes, beautiful embroidered jackets courtesy of Engine Pro and custom trophies. This year we are having a raffle for much desired items such as VP Racing Fuels and the much desired PINKS All Out billboard that was displayed on highway US 131 and many more items that are sure to please all in attendance. Tickets are only $30 each. This includes dinner and dessert. There will be a cash bar available. All tickets will be purchased in advance via our website or by calling the track office at 269.672.7800 Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm. We look forward to celebrating this entertaining evening with you and kicking off the 2010 racing season! We will again be awarding special racer awards at the banquet chosen by you the racers. |
